We are happy to announce that the first round of review of all the applications submitted between Jan/15 to Feb/15 just got over.
We are extremely delighted to see some amazing set of applications from education startups in the first few weeks of the program, each one adopting innovative methodologies and processes to disrupt education. After a thorough review process – we have shortlisted 5 applicants for sharing their ideas in a one-on-one meeting with Accel Partners. We’ll get in touch with the 5 shortlisted applicants shortly. Following the interaction with Accel Partners, we will be selecting one winner and announcing that startup as the “EduStar” of the month by next week.
Also, we have created a EduStars Entrepreneurs Facebook Group for all the applicants to connect, interact and collaborate with each other and we also have investors and mentors as part of the group. Please feel free to address any queries you may have related to your education startup. We’ll be inviting more mentors to join the group, so please use this opportunity to discuss with them the opportunities and challenges in the education startup space in India.
Note: EduStars campaign is targeted towards early-stage startups in education space that are not yet funded. If you are a startup that has already raised institutional financing, then we encourage you to reach out to chandan@yourstory.in to share your story on EduStars platform. Please do not apply for the program. We want to help recognize budding startups that are not yet funded through the “EduStar” program.
